Description: Rob's midlength evolution of the Machadocado. Who doesn't love a little 'xtra 'cado?
Rob Machado Xtra Cado Midlength Surfboard More waves. Less effort. Way more fun.
The Xtra Cado is Rob Machado’s answer to everyday surfing. A midlength that gives you effortless glide, easy paddle power, and performance when you want to turn it on.
This is the board you grab when the waves aren’t perfect and end up having your best session anyway.
Why you need this board in your quiver
- Catches waves early and easily. No more scratching to get in
- Glidey, fast, and stable. Perfect for weak California conditions
- Still turns hard when you push it. Not just a cruiser
- One board, multiple feels. Ride it as a quad, twin, or thruster
How It Rides
The Xtra Cado carries extra foam through the center for paddle power, while pulled-down rails and a refined tail keep it responsive.
A single to double concave with subtle vee gives you speed, lift, and smooth rail-to-rail flow. You can draw long lines or tighten it up in the pocket.
It’s fast when you want speed and forgiving when you don’t.
Perfect For
- Small to medium surf
- Surfers wanting more waves without riding a longboard
- Daily drivers that actually make bad days fun
- Anyone looking for a versatile, do-it-all mid length
Fin Setup
Run it your way:
- Quad for speed and drive
- Twin for a loose, playful feel
- Thruster for control and performance
One board. Multiple personalities. If you want a board that gets you in early, keeps you moving, and still lets you surf properly, this is it.
The Xtra Cado isn’t about trying harder. It’s about surfing better with less effort.
