Tokyo Drifter – Like it’s namesake, this latest design from Roy Sanchez is equal parts fast and loose. Its foundation lies upon a proven “egg” design, which makes it a great wave catcher and performer in most conditions. Combine that with a smooth and continuous rocker profile, a flat-to-vee bottom and a variety of fin setup options, and this versatile wave slider can make surfing on any day fun!
The Tokyo Drifter is handcrafted by Carlos “Roy” Sanchez, a master shaper with over 40 years of experience building surfboards. With over 30,000 blanks shaped for iconic surfing brands, Roy’s craftsmanship and attention to detail are unparalleled. At The Board Source, we’re honored to offer Roy’s surfboards under our house label ‘Tribute’. Each one is hand-shaped and glassed by Roy himself.
