Condition: This board is in excellent very lightly used condition just a couple of very tiny deck pressures.
Description: The PS '65, is a collaborative design between Paul Strauch and Roger Hinds. A custom "HAWAII" team logo on the deck. Volan deck and rail with fancy stringer.
For the 1965 world contest in Peru, George Downing made Paul two boards, a big wave board and a small wave board for the competition. Paul came in 3rd in the big wave event and first in the small wave event. The small wave board was the inspiration behind the PS '65, a collaborative effort between Paul Strauch and Roger Hinds. The original Downing classic shape has been kept intact as a classic small wave long board and modernized in the bottom rocker, nose, tail and rails allowing for effortless turns and maximum tip time.
