We offer payouts of UP TO 65% of our estimated retail price for boards in excellent condition. Boards with more wear, repairs, or lower desirability will receive a lower percentage.

While we’re always happy to answer questions by phone, we can’t give firm quotes without seeing the board in person. If you'd like to know whether your board is something we’d be interested in, feel free to text us a few photos (top, bottom, and dimensions) before coming in.

TRADE-IN & UPGRADE

Looking for your next board? We’ll evaluate your trade-in and you can apply the value directly toward another board in our shop.
Trade-in payout rates are the same as our purchase rates - up to 65% of our estimated retail value.

WHAT WE DO/DON'T BUY

We typically don’t buy boards that are:

• Broken, snapped, or creased (even if repaired)

• Sun-damaged, heavily yellowed, or covered in patina

• Requiring major repairs, or with open dings or fin box issues

• Outdated ’90s shortboards with glass-on fins

• Older models or shapes that are no longer in demand

• Painted or custom-sprayed (we have a strict no paint policy)

We do buy boards that are:

• In good to excellent condition

• From recognized and desirable brands

• Popular, current, or in-demand models

• Structurally sound, with only normal wear and tear

Our team evaluates each board based on brand, model, condition, repair needs, and current market demand.

Our pricing is grounded in extensive historical sales data, long-term market reporting, and daily hands-on experience with hundreds of surfboards.

We look at:

• Brand and model desirability

• Overall condition (wear, repairs, dings, sun exposure)

• Needed repairs and prep to bring the board to showroom standard

• Our current inventory and shop needs

PREPPING YOUR BOARD FOR VALUATION

No need to deep-clean or de-wax your board before bringing it in.
A clean board is nice - but not necessary. 

Once you sell your board to us, we handle:

• Cleaning and de-waxing

• Minor repairs

• Quality control

• Photography and adding it to our website

• Preparing it for the showroom floor

Our team takes care of everything, so feel free to bring your board in exactly as it is.
