BUY, SELL & TRADE

Our Carlsbad showroom is open 10am - 3pm daily. Our web store is open 24hrs for online purchases.
We accept all forms of payment in our showroom, including all common Credit/Debit Cards, Cash, ApplePay, Venmo and PayPal. Our web store accepts all major Credit/Debit cards, PayPal and Venmo (including PayPal payment installment options).
Currently we do not demo our boards.
To sell your surfboard to us, we suggest the following options: If you are nearby our showroom, you can bring your board during our business hours for an evaluation/estimate. If you are a bit far away, you can send us photos of your surfboard, along with the size and details of its condition/dings/repairs etc, via email at [email protected] or via text at 760-612-8100 to inquire if we will accept your board. You can then bring your board/s to our shop for us to assess the value in person.
We buy surfboards outright and pay cash/check or trade toward another board, at 65% of our intended retail price. No consignment option is available.
Our experienced team inspects each surfboard and prices it based on its brand, condition, desirability in the current market and space/need in our racks. We cannot provide estimates via phone, text, or email. Check our website for prices of similar boards, as a guide, our payout is 65% of our intended retail price.
Although we make our best effort to work out a deal, we cannot purchase every surfboard we see. Our team is specifically looking for desirable boards (long and short) in good to excellent condition. Unfortunately, we cannot accept surfboards that are old, yellowed, or have large repairs, busted fin boxes, creases, breaks, or are in generally poor condition. If you're unsure - please email or text us!
We offer a wide range of surfboards, including new, discounted-new, and used options. New boards are brand new, while discounted-new boards are Factory B-Class/Blemish boards available at a lower price. Used boards are pre-owned and have been previously waxed/surfed/ridden.
We do not provide ding repair services. However, we have an in-house team for repairing dings on our pre-owned boards, ensuring that all the boards we sell are watertight and ready to ride. If you have a ding in a board you want to sell to us, our team will professionally repair it for resale, and we will take this into consideration while evaluating your board.
Yes, collection from our showroom in Carlsbad is available free of charge when you purchase online. Just select local pick-up at checkout.
If you need your board shipped, simply add it to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Enter your shipping address and click 'request a shipping quote'. We'll get back to you with shipping options and pricing. If you live in Coastal California or Southern California, you may see the option to ship your board directly to your door or to a surf shop near you. Need help? SHIPPING

We have several shipping options available. Our team will provide you with the best options depending on board size and shipping destination. LOCAL COURIER SERVICE: Budget friendly options for Coastal California shipping between San Diego & San Francisco. Surf shop drop off and door-to-door delivery available. AIR FREIGHT: Budget friendly for boards big and small - fast, cost effective services to most major airports (one of the cheapest shipping options). You pick up from the airpot. FEDEX/UPS: Fast and reliable door-to-door service, best suited for shortboards and smaller mid-lengths. Not available for boards over 8'1" LTL TRUCK: Fast, door-to-door shipping for boards big and small. Ideal for Mid-Lengths & Longboards that cannot be shipped with national couriers.
To get a shipping quote, you can add your desired board to your shopping cart, and head to the checkout. Here you'll need to enter your your shipping address and you'll then see the option to 'request a shipping quote'. If you'd prefer to e-mail (or call) for a quote, be sure to let us know the board size/type/model and your shipping address.
Our coastal courier operates between San Diego and San Rafael, making stops at select shops along the way. Once we've processed your order, we'll book your board on the next available courier service to your local area. Generally, NorCal/SoCal services run every other week. Please note that delivery times may take up to 14 days, depending on where your order falls within the pick-up/delivery schedule. For door-to-door of faster service please contact us for options and prices.
Yes, we now ship to Hawaii! Our shipping options include air freight with Southwest and Aloha Cargo. You can request a quote for options and pricing at checkout or contact us for more information.
Shipping fees are for 1 surfboard ONLY. Any addition of another board, or board bag, will incur an additional cost. Please contact us for a quote.
Any surfboard over 5’11 is considered “oversized” by shipping carriers. Oversized packages acquire oversized surcharges imposed by the carriers. We have multiple shipping options via FedEx/UPS, LTL Freight and Air Cargo Freight and our team are always working to find the best rates to get your board to you!
Surfboards over 8’1 require LTL Freight. This type of freight is different from standard FedEx/UPS shipments, and can be quite expensive, but we will work as best as we can to find our cheapest, most trusted carrier based on the resources available. An alternative and often cheaper option is air freight, where you pick up your board from the airport freight terminal.
LTL shipping refers to limited truck load shipping (typically in a large truck) and is required for large boxes - longboards, mid-lengths etc. It differs from standard FedEx or UPS shipments. An outbound pickup is scheduled for all LTL shipments, and pickup will not be arranged until shipping payment is complete. LTL deliveries to residential locations require an appointment and the carrier will contact you via phone. Shipping to a business address or location may save you around $50 - $60 compared to residential delivery.
Just like you, we want your purchase to arrive on time and without damage. Our highly trained & experienced team package your items to ensure the safety and security of your package. We pride ourselves in going far beyond the industry standards and have an extremely low percent of damaged packages. Boards shipped via freight or national carrier will be boxed. Boards shipped with our local coastal couriers will be wrapped for protection.
Due to the fragile construction of surfboards, each one must be carefully packed to avoid damage in transit. This requires specialist materials and boxes. Each board is carefully packaged by hand, which takes a lot of labor/time and materials. We do not profit from boxing fees -
