Description: San Diego shaper John Holly has been crafting boards alongside the top names in the industry since 1969, when he worked in a stall next to Skip Frye at Gordon and Smith Surfboards. In 2018, Holly was honored as one of the inaugural inductees into the San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame. Now in his late 70s, Holly continues to produce boards under his "Seagull" brand.
